Mobile Device Registration System (MCKS/CEIR)
National system preventing unregistered mobile devices from accessing GSM networks. Awarded 'world's best system' by ITU in 2016.
MCKS (Mobile Device Registration System) / CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) is a national system preventing unregistered mobile devices from accessing GSM networks.
All IMEI numbers are managed in a central database; stolen or lost devices are instantly blocked. The system has been operating continuously in Turkey for 15+ years, contributing approximately $20 billion USD to the national economy.
On June 28, 2016, at the ITU session in Geneva, it was officially certified as the "world's best and most reliable system". All licensing rights belong to Oratech.
