System Modules (Core Modules)
The ITS has a modular structure according to the roles of the actors in the supply chain:
ā¢ Manufacturer/Importer Module: This is where the factory-printed QR codes of the drugs are first "registered" in the system.
ā¢ Warehouse Management Module: Manages the receipt of goods from manufacturers by pharmaceutical warehouses and their shipment to pharmacies/hospitals.
ā¢ Aggregation Module: This is a hierarchical module that manages the linking of boxes to boxes, boxes to cartons, and cartons to pallets (Parent-Child relationship) for ease of logistics. When the pallet QR code is scanned, all medications inside can be transferred in bulk.
ā¢ Pharmacy and Healthcare Facility Module: This is the end-unit module where the sale of medication to the end consumer (patient) takes place and is "deactivated" (dropped) from the system.
ā¢ Recall Module: Allows the sale of a faulty or contaminated batch to be blocked throughout Turkey with a single click.
